Description
Antepsin is a gastroprotective agent designed for the treatment of gastrointestinal (GI) diseases in animals. The active ingredient, sucralfate, forms a protective layer on the gastric and duodenal mucosa, promoting the healing of ulcers and erosions.
Indications for use:
- Peptic ulcers of the stomach and duodenum.
- Gastritis with increased acidity.
- Erosive and ulcerative lesions of the GI tract associated with the use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
- Reflux esophagitis.
Form of release:
Tablets.
Suspension for oral administration.
Method of administration and dosage:
The dosage and regimen depend on the animal's weight and the severity of the disease. It is recommended to use the medication as prescribed by a veterinary specialist.
Contraindications:
Individual intolerance to the components of the medication.
Severe renal failure.
