Delcid — is an insecticidal agent containing 4.0% synthetic pyrethroid deltamethrin for indoor treatment.
The preparation has pronounced insectoacaricidal properties and is used to combat ectoparasites in animals.
The active ingredient — deltamethrin 4.0% — is effective against sarcoptiform and ixodid ticks, lice, fleas, and other ectoparasites of animals. It has both contact and intestinal activity.
Mechanism of action: Deltamethrin blocks neuromuscular transmission of nerve impulses at the level of the peripheral nerve ganglia, leading to paralysis and death of the parasites.
Contraindications:
- Do not use for weakened and emaciated animals.
- Do not apply to females later than 2 weeks before giving birth. Contact with cats is not permitted.
Before disinsection, remove any leftover food and water from the premises. After treatment, ventilate the room for at least 1 hour, after which animals can be let back in.
