HydroClean is a hydroactive wound dressing with Ringer’s solution designed to cleanse wounds and maintain a moist wound environment. It absorbs wound exudate and supports wound bed cleansing.
Available options:
HydroClean Plus — 4 cm
Contains PHMB (polyhexanide) in the absorbent core. PHMB inhibits bacterial growth within the dressing.
HydroClean Advance — 7.5 × 7.5 cm
Does not contain PHMB. The superabsorbent core absorbs exudate and supports continuous wound cleansing.
Main difference: HydroClean Plus contains PHMB, while HydroClean Advance does not. Both dressings use Ringer’s solution and are designed to cleanse wounds and maintain a moist wound environment.
Indications:
- acute and chronic wounds;
- poorly healing wounds;
- wounds with necrotic tissue;
- postoperative wounds and ulcers.
Directions for use:
Apply the dressing directly to the wound and secure it appropriately. The frequency of dressing changes depends on the condition of the wound and the amount of exudate.
