Description
Itraconazole is a broad-spectrum antifungal medication active against dermatophytes, yeasts, and molds. It is used in the treatment of both superficial and systemic fungal infections.
Indications for use- Fungal infections of the skin and mucous membranes
- Onychomycosis (nail fungal infection)
- Systemic mycoses (including aspergillosis, histoplasmosis, cryptococcosis, etc.)
- Oropharyngeal and esophageal candidiasis
- Broad antifungal spectrum of activity
- Effective against multiple types of mycoses
- Available in oral suspension form
- Suitable for patients who have difficulty swallowing capsules
- Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C
- Keep out of reach of children
- Do not freeze
- Hypersensitivity to itraconazole or other azole antifungals
- Severe liver disease
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding (unless strictly indicated)
