Milteforan 20 mg/ml, 90 ml

Milteforan 20 mg/ml is a veterinary antiparasitic medicine containing miltefosine as its active ingredient. It is used in dogs to treat the clinical manifestations of leishmaniasis caused by Leishmania infantum. The product is intended for oral use in dogs.

Composition: miltefosine — 20 mg per 1 ml of solution. Excipients: hydroxypropylcellulose, propylene glycol, purified water.

Directions for use: the medicine is administered orally with food. The recommended dose for dogs is 2 mg of miltefosine/kg body weight once daily for 28 days, equivalent to 0.1 ml/kg. Underdosing should be avoided due to the risk of developing resistance to the medicine.

Dosage form: oral solution 20 mg/ml.
