Nefrospas for cats

Nefrospas is a veterinary medication containing telmisartan, used to manage proteinuria and blood pressure in animals with chronic kidney disease.

Telmisartan blocks angiotensin II type AT₁ receptors and helps reduce proteinuria while supporting kidney function.

Form

• oral suspension
• 25 ml and 50 ml bottles

Indications

• reduction of proteinuria in chronic kidney disease
• kidney support
• management of systemic hypertension

Administration

Administer orally.

Dosage should be determined by a veterinarian depending on the animal’s condition.

May be used long-term under veterinary supervision.

Contraindications

• hypersensitivity to components
• cholestasis
• bile duct obstruction
• severe liver impairment
