Description:
Nefrospas is a veterinary drug containing telmisartan, a specific antagonist of angiotensin II type AT₁ receptors. Telmisartan helps reduce blood pressure and lowers proteinuria in chronic kidney disease.
Form and Volume:
Oral suspension in 25 ml bottles.
Indications:
- Reducing proteinuria levels in chronic kidney disease.
- Treatment of systemic hypertension associated with chronic kidney disease.
Dosage and Administration:
The drug is administered orally once a day. The dosage is 0.1 ml per kg body weight, corresponding to 1 mg of telmisartan per kg body weight. There is no restriction on the duration of treatment.
Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
- Cholestasis.
- Obstruction of the bile ducts.
- Severe liver failure.
