Sorbalgon T Classic is a sterile alginate wound dressing in the form of a ribbon strip, designed for the care of deep, cavity and highly exuding wounds. When in contact with wound fluid, the material transforms into a soft gel that helps maintain an optimal moist environment for healing.

Use in animals

How to use

1. Clean the wound according to the veterinarian’s recommendations.
2. Place Sorbalgon T Classic into the wound area or cavity.
3. Cover with a secondary dressing if necessary.
4. Replace the dressing when saturated with exudate or according to a specialist’s instructions.

Important

• Not suitable for dry wounds, as the material requires moisture to activate.
• Do not use as a regular adhesive plaster.
• The dressing should be removed during wound dressing changes.
• Deep, infected or complicated wounds require veterinary supervision.
